Aveda Make-up Benefit will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010 from 1-8 pm for Haiti House of Hope Orphanage.
Ruth and Company will be hosting this event at the salon at 27 South Front Street in Souderton.
Fawn Monique Dellavalle, Aveda Make-up Professional, partners with Cross World Missions out of Philadelphia, PA. Fawn and her family have been part of Haiti's House of Hope Orphanage for years and will actually be at the orphanage at the end of February 2010.
This trip has been planned for the last year but we would like to add to the fund to help Fawn with immediate needs as a result of the recent earthquakes that have rocked Haiti. Please consider some new makeup. All make-up profits from this benefit will go to this orphanage as soon as Fawn lands in Haiti the end of February 2010. house_of_hope

It seems like everyone knows someone who has been affected by breast cancer. Here’s your chance to participate in the battle against this disease. The Reliance Inn is hosting a Beef and Beer fundraiser this Sunday from 4 pm to 9 pm to support the fight against breast cancer. Advance tickets are $25 dollars in advance and $30 at the door.
They have put together a variety of activities to make it a fun afternoon of fundraising. A DJ will keep the atmosphere upbeat as you nosh on hot roast beef and meatball sandwiches. Miller Lite will be on draft.
Local businesses have provided a wide variety of goodies for the baskets that will be raffled off as an additional fundraiser. For additional details call the Reliance Inn at 215-721-4433 or go to their website.

Greg McGovern will be holding the first event on Friday, October 16, 2009 entitled "The Newest Rules and Strategies for IRAs and Roth IRAs". This seminar will run from 2 - 5pm and the cost is $60.00.
The second event, "National Save for Retirement Week" will be held on Tuesday October 20th at 10:00 am. This is a free event.
