What do you think could be improved in Souderton and Telford? What do you love that should not be changed?

Souderton Telford Main Streets is working with the two boroughs, the Montgomery County Planning staff and a committee of volunteers to update the Revitalization Plan for the two boroughs.

This Revitalization Plan will guide the efforts of the boroughs and the Main Streets volunteers for the next seven years.

They need your help.

A special section of this website has been dedicated to gathering input and alerting interested stakeholders-residents, business owners and property owners- about public meetings.

Please download the questionaires, complete one or both and return them to the Main Street office by email, fax or regular mail. We will make copies for everyone working on this project.

Check back to this website and/or the Souderton Telford Main Streets Facebook page to stay current on the progress of this project.

Volunteers are the engine to a Main Streets program. People like you are making it work.

We have one full-time manager, a part-time support staffer, and their work is to maximize the 60+  volunteers's efforts to achieve the vision of our revitalization program. We can't do it all; neither do we want to; when you volunteer you bring something unique to Souderton and Telford. You help build memories and improve the quality of life for your family and our community.

Our Volunteer program is constantly growing and changing.

• Review this website. There is a wealth of information about current and past projects, our vision moving forward and loads of ideas to inspire you.
  

• Review the national website on the Main Street Approach, founded more than 25 years ago.

• Contact us with your interests. We will match you with a committee.
  

To determine which committee's projects best fit your personal interests, review the annual workplans for each of the four committees.  We will be happy to talk about how you might fit into one of our standing committees or how you might help with our annual events, such as our Field to the Table Food Festival, Holiday Parade, Univest Grand Prix event, ribbon-cuttings, and more.

Some people are so involved that they are in and out of the Main Streets office at 18 Green Street in Souderton all week. Other volunteers can be counted on to show up once a year to make an event happen. We welcome volunteers of all levels of time commitment.
