YOU Can Pave the Way to Work for Bucks County Residents!
Be part of the economic solution…. The Pennsylvania Way-to-Work Program is an innovative program designed to stimulate job growth and the local economy, funded through the American Recovery & Reinvestment (Stimulus) Act. Way-to-Work is a program designed to give local businesses/employers seasonal, temporary labor force assistance while providing hundreds of our Bucks County residents work experience and income!
Worried About Wages?
Employers can receive 100% of gross wages salary reimbursements (up to $7.25 for Youth and up to $13 per hour for Adult Participants) for employees hired through this initiative. Employers are responsible for the employer share of relevant federal and state taxes.

Pennsylvania offers qualified employers* the opportunity to train new and existing employees through the Guaranteed Free Training (GFT) Program offered through WEDnetPA.
The WEDnetPA-managed GFT Program offers two training programs. These programs give qualified in-state businesses and out-of-state companies relocating to the economic-friendly business climate of Pennsylvania the opportunity to train new and existing employees.
The first program, Basic Skills Training, provides funding for training in a variety of basic and entry-level skills. Information Technology Training, the second program, provides funding for training in a variety of information technology and advanced applied manufacturing subjects. Learn How Green Univest Can Be: Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Network (IVCC YPN) provides a fun and friendly atmosphere for energetic individuals to develop working relationships within their local business community. Join them on Thursday, March 25 from 5-7 pm at the new Univest branch at the corner of Bethlehem Pike and Route 113, Souderton.
The topic is Going Green: The importance of sustainability and the steps Univest has taken. Guest Speaker is Rich Mariner, VP of Property Management.

Small Business Resource Seminar hosted by Congresswoman, Allyson Schwartz will be held on Friday, February 19th from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the CORA Services 8540 Verree Road, Philadelphia, PA 19111.If you are a small business owner, an aspiring entrepreneur, or just interested in this important economic topic, you have the opportunity to share your views and thoughts on this important issue, as well as provide you with direct access to important federal government agencies that can assist you, or answer questions you may have.
Representatives from the Small Business Administration and the Internal Revenue Service will be at the event to share information on small business financing and procurement, as well as tax incentives and other provisions in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act that provide critical relief to small businesses.
